This appeal arises from an action for injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

FACTS

Plaintiff, Allen Segura, was injured on November 19, 1990 during the course and scope of his employment with Hadco Services, Inc. when the truck in which he was a passenger was struck from the rear by a vehicle driven by defendant, Mary Jane Jacquet.
