After a jury trial, Defendant-Appellant Alika K. Nomura (Defendant) was convicted on January 15, 1993 of Abuse of [a] Family and Household Member in violation of Hawai`i Revised Statutes (HRS) § 709-906(1) (Supp.1992).1 He appeals the amended judgment of conviction and sentence filed on February 1, 1993. We affirm.
