John T. Engstrom and his family appeal the judgment of the district court dismissing their claims under the Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil Relief Act, 50 U.S.C.App. §§ 501-593 against the First National Bank of Eagle Lake ("First National"). First National has filed a cross-appeal of the district court's judgments to allow the original complaint to be amended and to remand the state law claims to state court.
