Markus Gillord was charged by Bill of Indictment with two counts of aggravated rape, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:42; attempted aggravated rape, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:27 &14:42 and aggravated oral sexual battery, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:43.4. Gillord's victim was his live-in girlfriend's fourteen-year-old daughter. Pursuant to a plea agreement, the bill of indictment was amended to add the charge of forcible rape, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14...
