Betty Yerkes appeals from the trial court's grant of summary judgment in favor of Heartland Career Center ("Heartland"). Yerkes filed a negligence action against Heartland for injuries she sustained when she slipped and fell on a patch of ice on a sidewalk outside of Heartland.
