This is a workers' compensation case in which the plaintiff, Livonia Ducote Lemoine, suffered an accident while in the course and scope of her employment with Harris Management Company, d/b/a Hessmer Nursing Home. The accident occurred on May 24, 1990, and the plaintiff was paid weekly benefits and medical expenses through March 7, 1992. She began this action to recover benefits on July 21, 1992.
