Bryant Nedd was charged by bill of information with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:95.1. He pled not guilty and, after trial by jury, was found guilty as charged. The court sentenced him to serve a term of ten years imprisonment at hard labor, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence, with credit for time served, and to pay a fine of $5,000.00.1 Defendant appealed...
