Dr. Gibb appeals from a jury verdict in a medical malpractice action. We reverse and remand.

The basic facts are not in dispute. On December 16, 1988, Robert and Marjorie Brady were involved in an automobile accident with a truck owned and operated by Utah Power and Light Company (UP & L).
