These are appeals from judgments of conviction for attempted capital murder, aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated sexual assault. The convictions were obtained in a consolidated trial before a jury.

Appellant in two points of error asserts he did not receive effective assistance of counsel. He argues that, even though the issues were raised, trial counsel failed to request jury instructions on duress and on accomplice witness...
