I also agree with Judge SHEPHERD that we should defer to the trial court with respect to its findings of fact regarding the police activity during the questioning of the defendant. Defendant alleged that the police engaged in a variety of improper behavior, including the misrepresentation of the defendant's whereabouts to an attorney.
