Scottie Fitzgerald Rowell, the appellant, and Andrew Lewis Wilson were separately indicted for the attempted murder of Jeffery Lamar Jones. On motion of the State, the two cases were consolidated for trial, and a jury convicted both defendants. Rowell was sentenced to 75 years' imprisonment and was ordered to pay $50.00 to the Crime Victims' Compensation Fund, $58,115.26 in restitution, and court costs.
