Alan Steien was involved in an automobile accident in a high school parking lot on April 28, 1993, and was charged with driving while under the influence of drugs, driving with a suspended license, giving a false name to a law enforcement officer, and driving without a license. The officer investigating the accident noticed prescription pads and prescription bottles inside Steien's vehicle. A subsequent investigation resulted in Steien being charged...
