Michael Vinson appeals from judgments convicting him of two counts of sexually assaulting a young boy and from an order denying his motion for postconviction relief.

The issues are: (1) whether the trial court's statement, in ruling on the child victim's competency to testify, that the child was a "credible" witness denied Vinson due process and a fair trial; (2) whether the child's mother impermissibly testified as to the truthfulness of her son...
