Sacir Demirovski is a thirty-year-old native and citizen of Macedonia, a former republic of Yugoslavia. He is an ethnic Albanian and a practicing Muslim. Mr. Demirovski departed Yugoslavia in December of 1987 and entered Mexico on a tourist visa. Mr. Demirovski then entered the United States illegally at the Arizona-Mexico border on January 4, 1988.
