The plaintiffs brought this lawsuit against defendant City of Greensboro, Alabama almost seven years ago, claiming that the at-large system used to elect the Greensboro City Council violated § 2 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, as amended, 42 U.S.C.A. § 1973.
