Plaintiffs, Lera Muscarello (Mrs. Muscarello) and her insurer, American Employers Insurance Company (American), filed suit against defendants, Martin Ayo (Ayo) and his employer, Louisiana Power and Light Company (LP & L), for damages arising out of an automobile accident. The trial court, after a bench trial, found Mrs. Muscarello to be 30% at fault and Ayo and LP & L to be 70% at fault and entered judgment in favor of plaintiffs for the sum...
