Defendant, William Abdullah Mustafa, was indicted on 16 September 1991 for the criminal offenses of first degree sexual offense, first degree rape, kidnapping, and robbery with a dangerous weapon. Defendant was convicted of first degree rape, first degree sexual offense and misdemeanor larceny. The trial court dismissed the charge of kidnapping at the close of the evidence.
