Connie Mack Moore was charged by bill of information with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. La.R.S. 14:95.1. A jury found Moore guilty and the trial court waived the statutory fine and sentenced him to five years imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence with credit for time served. The trial court denied Moore's motion to reconsider the sentence. He appeals, asserting nine assignments of error...
