John van de Leuv, M.D. ("van de Leuv") appeals the trial court's order granting summary judgment in favor of Methodist Hospital of Indiana, Inc. ("Methodist") and Emergency Medical Group, Inc. ("EMGI"). Van de Leuv raises three issues and eight subissues for our review, which we consolidate into three and restate as follows:
