Defendant pleaded guilty to the crimes of attempted burglary in the second degree and tampering with a witness in the third degree and was sentenced as a second felony offender to concurrent terms of imprisonment of 2½ to 5 years for the attempted burglary conviction and 2 to 4 years for the tampering with a witness conviction.
