Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant's contention, the hearing court properly denied suppression of the evidence obtained as a result of the police stop of his vehicle. The arresting officer's testimony that he observed the defendant violate several provisions of the Vehicle and Traffic Law provided a sufficient basis to justify the stop of the vehicle (see, People v Ellis,
