This appeal arises out of the lawsuit Leslie and Mark Heppinstall filed in superior court against Darnall Kemna & Co., Inc. and George Clark. The Heppinstalls sued Darnall Kemna, their stockbroker, and Clark, Darnall Kemna's agent in Anchorage, because they suffered losses following the "crash" in the United States securities markets in October 1987.
