OPINION
PER CURIAM:
On the evening of June 24, 1990, appellant ("Barone") shot a Las Vegas night-club bouncer ("Blaydes") in the leg with a.25 caliber pistol. Barone was convicted of battery with the use of a deadly weapon. Barone appeals, claiming, inter alia, that the trial court denied him a fair trial by refusing his proposed jury instruction, thereby shifting the burden of proving self-defense or defense of others to Barone.
