Code, §§ 187, 189; all further statutory references are to the Penal Code unless otherwise indicated), seven counts of attempted murder (§§ 664, 187), and two counts of robbery (§ 211).1 He seeks a writ of habeas corpus, claiming, inter alia, that the superior court lacked subject matter jurisdiction...
