Defendant has advanced a number of reasons for the reversal of his conviction beginning with the claim that the People improperly used a peremptory challenge to exclude a black juror. We find this claim lacks merit because defendant has not met his burden of showing purposeful discrimination by the prosecutor, particularly in light of his counsel's statement that he was satisfied with the prosecutor's explanation for the peremptory challenge...
