Mary Louise Dozier, the appellant, was convicted in 1990 on two separate indictments charging the unlawful distribution of cocaine and was given concurrent sentences of 20 years' imprisonment. Those convictions were reversed on direct appeal because of the admission of evidence regarding other instances of unlawful distribution of cocaine not charged in the indictments. Dozier v.
