On March 3, 1990, plaintiffs traveled from Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia, with their daughter and two of her friends to ski at defendant's ski area. Plaintiffs did not ski, nor did they pay a fee for their use of the premises. They did, however, pay for their daughter and her friends to ski.
