Plaintiffs appeal as of right the trial court's dismissal of their legal malpractice action pursuant to MCR 2.116(C)(8). We affirm.

In 1987, plaintiff Arthur Simko was tried for possession with intent to deliver more than 650 grams of cocaine, MCL 333.7401(2)(a)(i); MSA 14.15(7401)(2)(a)(i), and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, MCL 750.227b; MSA 28.424(2).
