SEXTON, Judge.

On August 31, 1992, a jury convicted appellant, Bobby Ray Pickett, of manslaughter and attempted manslaughter. The trial court sentenced him to 15 years at hard labor for the manslaughter conviction and 10 years at hard labor for the attempted manslaughter conviction. The trial judge ordered these sentences to run consecutively, the first five years of each sentence to be served without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. On appeal...
