Babineaux, was injured when, while traveling in a southerly direction on University Avenue in Lafayette, Louisiana during the morning of November 8, 1989, she drove her pickup truck into the rear wheels of the trailer portion of an 18-wheel truck driven by Eddie Arthur Johnson.
