This case was originally heard by this court in February 1992, which hearing resulted in a determination that the lower court's denial of Shoulderblade's motion to suppress the evidence was correct because valid consent was given to search the vehicle. Shoulderblade appealed that decision to the Utah Supreme Court, which reversed and remanded for further proceedings on the issue of whether there was sufficient attenuation...
