A brief review of the facts which led to the bringing of the motion for sanctions is necessary to an understanding of the position of this case. A judgment was rendered against a client of the defendant attorney. A post-trial motion was filed with respect to the judgment. While the post-trial motion was waiting to be heard, the judgment debtor filed for bankruptcy.
