No. 92-664.

617 So.2d 1224 (1993)

STATE of Louisiana, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION & DEVELOPMENT, Plaintiff-Appellant, v. Ira L. CAMPBELL, Jr., et ux., Defendants-Appellees.

Court of Appeal of Louisiana, Third Circuit.

April 14, 1993.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Bernard Louis Malone Jr., Baton Rouge, for State, Dept. of Transp. & Development.

Marvin F. Gahagan, Natchitoches, for Ira L. Campbell Jr. et ux.

Before GUIDRY, KNOLL and WOODARD, JJ.

KNOLL, Judge.

This is an appeal in an expropriation suit. The Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) appeals the trial court judgment which awarded defendants, Ira L. Campbell, Jr. and his wife, $64,859 for future economic losses associated with the expropriation. DOTD's argument on appeal is that the trial court erred in awarding compensation for future economic loss which was based on speculative testimony.
