The defendant, Larry Leblanc, was charged by bill of information with one count of possession of cocaine in excess of 400 grams and one count of distribution of cocaine, violations of LSA-R.S. 40:967. The defendant pled not guilty and, after trial by jury, he was found guilty of possession of cocaine in excess of 400 grams and attempted distribution of cocaine. The defendant was adjudicated a fourth felony habitual offender on both counts and was sentenced...
