FLANIGAN, Judge.

A jury found defendant Timothy Iten guilty of stealing, a Class A misdemeanor, and he was sentenced to one year imprisonment in the county jail and a fine. Defendant appeals.

Defendant's first point is that the evidence is insufficient to support the verdict, and the trial court erred in ruling otherwise because "the evidence was insufficient to establish the corpus delicti of the offense of stealing [in that] the state presented no proof...
