Albert Vallery and his wife, JoAnn Vallery, brought this personal injury action against Albert Vallery's employer, Southern Baptist Hospital. The trial court maintained the hospital's exception of no cause of action and dismissed the suit upon a finding that Mr. and Mrs. Vallery's claims were barred by the "exclusive remedy" provision contained in the worker's compensation statute.
