This is a divorce case.

Maurice Mayer and Shirley Woods Mayer married in November 1977. No children were born of the marriage. In October 1991, the husband filed for divorce against the wife, and she counterclaimed. After the exchange of numerous pleadings and an ore tenus proceeding, the trial court divorced the parties in September 1992.
