Lois D. Taylor Kernop (mother) and Andy Joe Taylor (father) were married in November 1982. Shortly thereafter, the father adopted the mother's child from a prior marriage. The parties divorced in September 1983, in an uncontested proceeding. It is undisputed that the parties entered into a separation agreement which provided that the father would pay the sum of $25 every two weeks as child support, and that from 1983 until 1992, no support was paid...
