This concursus proceeding concerns a dispute between an attorney and his former client over the proper fee to be paid pursuant to a contingency fee contract for successful representation in a personal injury case. The contract provided for 35% of the amount recovered prior to litigation, 40% after filing of suit, and 45% if the case were appealed.
