Defendant Domingo Ramirez was arrested and charged by information for possession of more than 15 but less than 100 grams of cocaine with intent to deliver. (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 56½, par. 1401(a)(2).) Prior to trial, he moved to quash his arrest and suppress any evidence which had directly or indirectly resulted from that allegedly illegal arrest.
