SHORES, Justice.

Richard V. Cantrell appeals from a summary judgment for North River Homes, Inc. ("North River"), and Alan West in a defamation suit. We affirm.

Cantrell, Robert L. Brown, Billy Reich, and Tommy Hunter were employed as truck drivers by North River, a mobile home manufacturer. Cantrell's employment was terminated early in 1990.
