AFLAC, Inc., formerly American Family Corporation, the appellee/plaintiff, brought the instant action against Peter Williams, appellant/defendant, seeking declaratory relief as to the enforceability of an agreement in which the chairman of AFLAC agreed to retain Williams to provide legal representation to the corporation for a seven-year period, beginning on January 1, 1988.
