Charles Stewart is a prisoner in the Illinois Department of Corrections system ("IDOC"). From 1988 to July 1991, he was incarcerated at Stateville Correctional Center ("Stateville") in G Unit. From July 1991 to present, Stewart has been housed in Logan Correctional Center ("Logan"). On August 14, 1989, Stewart initiated this suit, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, alleging that the defendants had violated several of his constitutional rights...
