On November 7, 1988, Gerald Bridges, a resident of Pennsylvania, was injured when the automobile in which he was riding as a passenger struck a parked vehicle in Philadelphia. The vehicle, which was being operated by Michael Gary, was owned by Leonard Jones, Jr., and registered in the State of Florida. Allegedly, the vehicle was uninsured at the time of the accident, and Gary, the driver, had no other coverage. Moreover, Bridges did not own a vehicle...
