On May 20, 1986, respondent mailed notices of deficiency to Anthony L. and Annetta Asciutto (petitioners Asciutto) for the taxable year ending December 31, 1979, and to Gaetano and Mary E. Bruni (petitioners Bruni) for the taxable years ending December 31, 1979, and December 31, 1980. The notices of deficiency were timely mailed to petitioners Asciutto and petitioners Bruni in accordance with Forms 872-A, Special Consent...
