The defendant, Sun Cha Parker, was convicted by a jury of seven counts of promoting prostitution, La.R.S. 14:83.2, and six counts of pandering, La.R.S. 14:84. She was sentenced to serve consecutive six month terms of imprisonment at hard labor on each of the seven counts of promoting prostitution, and like consecutive terms of six months imprisonment on each of the six counts of pandering.
