This is an appeal from the order denying Appellant Jeffrey Hanawalt's Motion in Limine. For the reasons which follow, we vacate the order of the trial court and remand for proceedings consistent with this opinion.

The facts and procedural history are as follows: On February 8, 1990, Appellant picked up his four-year-old daughter at approximately 8:00 a.m., and returned her to her mother at Noon the same day. Upon returning home, the child complained...
