In August 1988, Timothy L. Schweighart, husband of plaintiff, Jacqueline A. Schweighart, was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident. The driver of the other car involved in the accident was uninsured. Because Timothy was acting in the course of his employment when the accident occurred, he received over $123,000 in workers' compensation benefits.
