This appeal involves nine habeas corpus actions. Seven of the nine petitioners pleaded guilty and the other two were tried and convicted. In eight of these nine actions, the petitioners claim that their convictions should be vacated because their minority group was substantially underrepresented in the pool of venirepersons available for selection to the grand jury that indicted them, in violation of the right to equal protection of the laws as guaranteed...
