The first was filed by Boes Iron Works, Inc. against Elmwood Savings and Loan association (now in receivership with the Resolution Trust Corporation) seeking damages and alleging that Elmwood failed to procure fire insurance, after representing that it would do so, on a building owned by Boes which burned.
